ESTONIAN CONVERSATION COURSE FOR INTERMEDIATE I

If you have studied Estonian before and can manage in common everyday situations,
If you would like to expand your vocabulary as well as improve your listening and speaking skills,
If you wish to express yourself more smoothly,
If you need Estonian for daily or professional communication,

this is the course for you.

We focus on developing your active vocabulary and enhancing the courage to speak. We practise real-life skills such as expressing opinion, giving advice, making comparisons, etc, i.e. everything that helps you to be an active listener and become an active communicator. We focus on functional grammar, teach it in context and place a strong emphasis on developing a more natural command of spoken Estonian.
We combine business with pleasure using a variety of methods and activities such as pair work, group work, dialogues, information gap activities, vocabulary games, role plays, board games, etc.
By the end of the course you will know how to express your opinion on personal and public matters, give advice, handle problems, agree and disagree, show interest, etc.
The course is based on Avatud uksed and the language materials created by Folkuniversitetet (including the media and other sources offering an authoritative and flexible range of materials).

  TOPICS:
  Looking for a job,

  Finding accommodation,
  Knowing your rights,
